We begin this week's post with an "it's a small world after all" item.

Kevin's friend from BYU, Steve Loveland, served with Kevin's cousin, Brian Lunt, in western Canada. Here is a picture of the two of them. (This will also serve as a test to see if Brian's dad ever looks at my blog.)

A branch activity included skits. A branch member and the missionaries put on a boxing skit.

Here we have Elder Palmer entering the ring triumphantly.

A branch member is his competitor. Kevin is the announcer. His companion is Elder Palmer's trainer and Elder Perez is the referee.

The branch members appears to have won. My guess is that a shot below the belt took Elder Palmer down. It isn't that the branch member fought dirty. Rather, that is probably as high as he could reach.

Some theorize that the moon will be "turned into blood" prior to the coming of Christ and/or the Rapture.

Maybe the really old guy who said the end would come on May 21, 2011 wasn't all that far off.

Or it could just be a shot of the moon from San Pedro Island.

Here is Kevin's testimony. "I know that God lives and loves us. I know that Jesus Christ is my savior and redeemer and that this is His true church. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God."
