First, I need to correct my correction. Although the branch president is from Honduras, he currently lives on San Pedro Island. Sorry for the confusion.

Now, it is appropriate to pause and reflect on the vision of missionary work President Kimball had so many years ago. He prophesied of countries, where most of the missionaries then were from North America, supplying most, if not all, of their missionaries.

Of the 28 missionaries serving in Belize, here are the ones from North America.

So the zones in Belize had a combined activity which also included something of a Christmas party. Kevin reports that it went well. The highlight was that he won the game where you tie a balloon to each foot and try to break every one else's before both of yours get broken.

For those of us up here, the group picture might be the most interesting outcome from the multi-zone gathering. Here it is.

You will have noted that Kevin is not the tallest one in the picture. Elder Palmer receives that honor. My guess is that he 6'9" or 6'10". I'm not used to seeing guys that big in pictures without basketballs in their hands.

I took the liberty of adding the red line, which didn't turn out so great. It is intended to contrast the height of the shortest elder with that of Elder Palmer. I'm guessing two feet.

It sounds like Kevin and his companion have a regular program of instructing and assisting the leaders in the branch. That will be a good growth opportunity for them.

Again, I will finish with his testimony.

"I know that Christ lives and that He is my Savior. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that it will help us become more closer to God then any other book. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God, and I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ that is guided through a modern-day prophet. "
