
Here are some interesting facts:
- Estimated population - 79,600
- The city is Belize's principal port and its financial and industrial hub.
- The city was almost entirely destroyed in 1961 by Hurricane Hattie.
- The city very much has a tropical climate.

Charleston, on the other hand, boasts standard deviations of 19.2 and 16.4 degrees. (How is that for putting a positive spin on a climate that, today, did not reach 20 degrees.)
It seems the rain is the only thing that breaks up the Belize monotony. A 1.5 inch month must feel a lot different from a 12 inch month.

I know that Christ lives and that He is my savior. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that this is His Church that is lead by a modern day prophet.
